How does the KINSŌ filter clean my water?

KINSŌ filters use a multi-layer filtration system designed to remove impurities while maintaining optimal water flow and quality. Each layer has a specific purpose:

  1. Outer microfabric layer – Captures rust, sediments, and larger particles to prevent them from entering your tap or shower.

Installation

Is KINSŌ easy to install?

Yes. KINSŌ systems are designed for quick, hassle free DIY installation. The showerhead connection fits the universal standard 1/2-inch thread size for Australian households, making it compatible with most existing setups. Installation usually takes just a few minutes without tools.

Will I need an adapter for my taps fittings?

For our tap/basin filter, we have provided a set of 9 connector sizes ranging from M16 to M24, covering almost all standard Australian taps and faucets with a circular removable aerator and includes adaptors for different sizes.

We recommend checking your faucet type before purchase. It won’t fit square or oval faucets, showerhead faucets, induction styles, pull-outs without detachable aerators, or non-threaded pipes under 15mm.

Do I need a plumber?

In most cases, no. The system is intuitive and simple to install. If you’re unsure at any stage, our support team can guide you step by step.

How do I replace the filter?

Filter replacement is straightforward: remove the old filter, insert a new one, and ensure it clicks securely into place. Step-by-step instructions are included with every product and printed on the packaging for reference.

Can’t find the right-sized connector for my aerator or tap?

The easiest way to check is to remove the aerator (the part that screws off at the end of your tap) and measure the diameter of the threaded section across the center.

Take a clear photo showing the measurement, then email it to support@kinsocare.com. Our team will identify the correct adapter and help you get the right fit.

What’s the difference between the standard connectors and the stainless steel connector set?

How do I install the KINSŌ Ritual Showerhead?

Installation is quick and straightforward in 4 steps

  1. Detach your existing showerhead from the standard ½” fitting.
  2. Remove the protective pad from the KINSŌ showerhead cap.
  3. Attach the KINSŌ Ritual showerhead to the fitting.
  4. Turn on the water for 30 seconds to flush the system.

And that’s it, your showerhead is ready to use. No tools or plumbing expertise required.

How to Install the KINSŌ Clarity Tap Filter

We’ve designed the installation to be seamless and straightforward. Every Clarity Tap Filter package includes all the tools you need: tap aerator wrenches, thread adapters, and silicone gasket tape to prevent leaks. 

Step 1: Remove your current aerator 

Use the included wrench (or one that fits your tap) to carefully remove the existing aerator. Ensure the area around the tap is clean before proceeding. 

Step 2: Insert the adapter Select the adapter that matches your tap.

Insert it securely onto the tap, ensuring a snug fit. If minor leakage occurs, wrap the included silicone gasket tape around the threads for a watertight seal. 

Step 3: Attach the filter 

Remove the silicon ring and sticker seal from the Clarity Tap Filter. Screw the filter onto the adapter until it locks firmly into place. Your Clarity Tap Filter is now ready for use, no plumber required.

Is it easy to swap or install the filter refills?

Yes — it’s extremely simple. Each refill comes with step-by-step instructions on the packaging.

To replace your filter:

  1. Twist and remove the old filter.
  2. Insert the new filter into place.
  3. Close and seal tightly, ensuring it clicks in securely.

Tip: Don’t apply excessive pressure, a gentle twist is all that’s needed for a perfect fit.

Shipping

When will my order ship and be delivered? Can I fast-track it?

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery within Australia usually takes 3–5 business days. Fast-track shipping options may be available at checkout for urgent orders, simply select your preferred shipping method.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Use this to monitor your package in real-time. You can also access Australia Post to view your order status and tracking updates.

Do you ship internationally?

KINSŌ currently ship across Australia and New Zealand and are expanding international shipping soon. Shipping costs, delivery times, and customs requirements will vary depending on the destination and will be displayed at checkout.

My order hasn’t arrived yet. What should I do?

First, check your tracking information for the latest updates. If the estimated delivery date has passed, or tracking shows no movement, contact our support team at support@kinsocare.com and we’ll assist in locating your package and resolving the issue.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

If you notice an error in your shipping address, contact us as soon as possible at support@kinsocare.com . We’ll do our best to update your address before the order is dispatched, but once the order has shipped, changes may not be possible.

What is KINSŌ’s return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of shipment. Products must be unused, in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for a refund. Returns due to verified faults or errors on our part are fully covered, while other returns may incur a restocking fee.

How do I request a return?

Contact our support team at support@kinsocare.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll provide instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.

Can I exchange my product?

Yes. Exchanges are handled similarly to returns. Contact our support team with details of the product you wish to exchange, and we’ll guide you through the process.

How long will it take to receive a refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are usually processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued.

Are sale items refundable?

No. Products purchased during promotional or sale periods are final sale. This ensures we can process high-volume orders quickly and fairly.

What if my product is defective or damaged?

If your product arrives damaged or develops a verified fault, contact our support team immediately. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and cover all related shipping costs.

Do I need to keep the packaging?

Yes, wherever possible. Keeping the original packaging ensures the product can be safely returned and helps us process your refund or exchange quickly.

Should I subscribe to KINSŌ filter refills?

Yes. Regularly replacing your filter ensures it continues to effectively remove chlorine, heavy metals, and impurities from your water. Over time, the filtration media becomes saturated, reducing its ability to deliver clean, skin-friendly water.

Subscribing means you never run out of refills, maintaining optimal filtration and consistently protecting your hair, skin, and overall wellbeing from harmful chemicals and irritants.

How can I cancel or manage my subscription?

You can modify, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team at support@kinsocare.com .To ensure changes take effect before your next shipment, please notify us at least 5 days before your next billing date.
